Optimising individual decision strategies

Optimising individual decision strategies

Marketswitch® Optimization maximises the performance of customer interactions by identifying the best action for each individual. It enables a company to achieve its financial goals while simultaneously considering its management policies, operational constraints, regulatory requirements, and contact rules.

Designed for business users, Marketswitch Optimization is a highly configurable decision tool that uses a proprietary mathematical process to make truly objective, individual-level decisions across the customer life cycle – from acquisitions and portfolio management to collections and recovery.

Overview

Optimising individual customer decisions for pricing, marketing, credit/risk and collections.

Marketswitch Optimization lets analysts define an overall goal, such as profit or risk exposure, and specify all of the constraints of the business problem as well as customer contact rules (e.g., only send one decision option per customer each month).

The system then determines what decision should be made for each customer to ensure the overall business goals are met.

Marketswitch Optimization projects analyse the interdependencies between multiple competing actions with a variety of action economics (e.g., selling and delivery costs); predictive models for customer response and profitability; multiple outbound and interactive (real-time) channels for delivery; and eligibility conditions and event triggers.

It takes into account overall business goals and constraints, as well as customer contact rules, to determine which customer should receive which action through which channel – all while maximizing the customer’s financial return to the business. ‘What if’ scenarios let the user identify the appropriate strategy before committing resources.
